Tomorrow at 7.30 pm, you are most welcome at the Nutshuis The Hague to watch and join this panel discussion on the pros and cons of social media for human rights (defenders). Panelists are Dutch and international experts while from the audience participants of our current The Hague Training Course on security and advocacy will share their experiences from the field. On Saturday, July 1, we will host the 10th Welkom Hier festival for local solidarity for and with refugees. After The Hague, Delft, Amersfoort, Leidschendam-Voorburg, Maastricht and Haarlem this time we are in Dordrecht. From 13:00 to 15:00, about 20 organizations and initiatives present themselves in Library AanZet and from 15:00 to 17:00 there is a divers stage programme in Bonfire. Welcome Here, we do together!

4 July: Interactive documentary about Burqa, an ordinary West Bank village
The Invisible Walls of Occupation
Next Tuesday evening, the 4th July at 7.30 pm we will screen this interactive documentary at The Nutshuis in The Hague. Our current Shelter City guest in The Hague, Iyad, will guide you through this virtual tour with stories he collected during his work. Iyad documents human rights violations for the Israeli information center B'Tselem. After the screening he will have a conversation with Jan Keulen, director of The Rights Forum. Entrance is free.
